One of OrientalTimes readers shares an awful experience with some hawkers who reportedly comes from the Northern part of the country and he wants it published so others could also be aware of the trend.

A pure water seller who is an Hausa man had a little misunderstanding with non Hausa man around Slaughter, Port Harcourt in Rivers State Monday 24.

According to this reporter, the hawker (Hausa man) was seen urinating very close to his friend's shop and the friend who owns the shop immediately saw him and asked him to stop but the hawker turned around and answered him insultingly "Oga nobody get this place oo, make una no dey disturb person", with his colleagues they started making fun of the young man who owns the shop, the man now got upset and landed the Hausa man a heavy slap.

Not less than 20 minutes as reported by the eyewitness, soldiers came with 2 hilux and the Hausa man who was slapped identified himself to the military men as a 'Mohammed Soldier' showing his ID card to the angry looking soldiers.

If you see the kind of beating this our brother received for slapping an Hausa man selling pure water who even looked for trouble, you would shed tears. the eye witness said.
The soldiers almost took him away and it was later reported he had to pay them the some of N5,000 before he was allowed to go.

He therefore urged OrientalTimes to publish this so that people reading this will be very careful with most northern hawkers especially those in Port Harcourt as they are mostly soldiers who are sent on a mission.
