Recently news went viral that all is not well with Patapaa mentally after an incident at the airport where he abruptly left a plane he was supposed to travel on at the last minute and started wandering aimlessly on the tarmac.
This happened after his altercation with Prophet Kumchacha who is the Founder and Leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries.

However, things may still not be right in Patapaa’s world as his manager has dumped him citing his erratic behaviour as the cause, Ghana Web reports.


According to Godfred Bopkin, Patapaa has been behaving strangely, often cancelling shows at the last minute without any explanation and according to Bopkin he can’t deal with that anymore.

“He mostly cancels booked interviews and shows as they’re fast approaching with no tangible reason to support his excuse. This has become consistent and I can’t bear with his recalcitrant attitude anymore. I’ve to let him go”, he revealed on Happy FM.
Earlier, he responded to allegations circulating in the public that he is going mad after the airport incident.

“I had to travel with my manager. It was not safe to travel alone. The manager changed his plans at the airport and I couldn’t go to Nigeria alone. Later, I was told Dr Pound’s brother was going with me and he was in the flight already”, he explained.

“They had to announce in the flight before he came out to say he was travelling with me. He was not supposed to do that… I had to get down from the plane because if it gets locked, I couldn’t return…” he told Andy Dosty on Tuesday.

Asked if he walked on the tarmac confused, he said no, indicating that “I returned to the airport with a bus and nothing happened after,” he said.
