FG declares Tuesday, May 29, public holiday to mark 2018 Democracy Day
The Federal Government has proclaimed Tuesday, May 29, as open occasion to praise the 2018 Democracy Day in Nigeria.
The Minister of Interior, resigned Lt.- Gen Abdulrahman Dambazau, made the presentation on Friday in Abuja for the benefit of the Federal Government in an announcement issued by Dr. M. Umar, the Permanent Secretary.
Dambazau praised Nigerians on the event and swore government's proceeded with commitment to digging in majority rules system in the nation.
He additionally encouraged all Nigerians to trust and bolster the legislature in its sense of duty regarding building a unified, serene and more prominent country in view of the fundamentals of majority rule government.
The Minister wished all Nigerians a Happy Democracy Day festivity.
